What is Gender Affirming Hormone Therapy (GAHT)?
Gender-affirming hormone therapy (GAHT) helps individuals feel more confident and fulfilled by aligning their physical appearance with their true inner self, supporting them in living authentically.
This helps individuals align their appearance with how they feel inside, supporting their transition to match their gender identity. Testosterone may deepen the voice and increases body hair for those transitioning to a more masculine appearance, while estrogen and anti-androgens may promote softer skin and breast development for those transitioning to a more feminine appearance.
We honor the uniqueness of every patient’s gender identity, providing support on your journey to self-discovery and expression. Our environment is affirming, respectful, and free from discrimination.

At Vida Telehealth, we share the view of The American Medical Association (AMA) who have released the following statement in support of DEI policies in health care hoping to improve the health of our nation.
“Our efforts to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) seek to address the long-standing and well-documented inequities in our healthcare system and its impact on the health of our patients and communities. Excellence in patient care cannot exist until we have a physician workforce capable of caring for our patients and their needs holistically, and until the profession of medicine is accessible to all qualified individuals.”
